Abraham is in advanced talks to join the Turkish side, according to a report from . The English striker, who returned to Roma after a season-long loan at AC Milan, is no longer in the Serie A club's plans. Besiktas have talked to Roma about a possible loan move with an option to buy because they want to strengthen their attacking line under coach Solskjaer.

Abraham is open to leaving Roma after having limited opportunities while on loan at Milan, where he played 1757 minutes across 45 matches, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists. Besiktas aim to offload veteran forward Ciro Immobile and bring in Abraham to lead the attack. The striker reportedly wants guarantees of being the starting centre forward, a demand the Turkish club are not fully willing to accept.
