A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to criticise Harry Winks for his performance in Sunday’s Premier League clash with Liverpool.
According to WhoScored, the 23-year-old only had a pass success rate of 69% before being replaced just past the hour mark.
And when considering that Winks was largely in the team to recycle the ball, completing just 18 passes at Anfield is not exactly fantastic.
The midfielder has been a key player for Mauricio Pochettino this season – appearing in 12 of their 14 matches in all competitions.
Winks is yet to provide a goal or an assist, though, and his performance in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Anfield was not well received by the Spurs supporters.
Indeed, many took to social media in the aftermath of the loss to criticise the four-time England international, who was substituted for Tanguy Ndombele when the score was 1-1.
