They had drawn in Denmark, but fell to a 3-1 defeat at Celtic Park, due to goals from Michael Santos, Pep Biel and Dame N’Doye.
Neil Lennon spoke after the game and his comments did absolutely nothing to appease the fans – if anything they wound them up even more.
The part of this comment that has frustrated fans the most is the suggestion that Celtic “were in control in the first-half”, which they strongly disagree with.
One has called this comment “garbage”, while another has stated that “just because we didn’t concede doesn’t mean we were in control”.

Celtic did have 64.3% of possession in the first half, but only managed to get one shot on target during that time, which indicates that they weren’t anywhere near effective enough with the ball.
There are fans who have put the team’s failings on the day down to the manager, with one saying “you got it all wrong”.
One fan gave specific opinions about where Lennon messed up, stating that he should have taken Jozo Simunovic off and started Leigh Griffiths alongside Odsonne Edouard from the start.
What is clear, is that Celtic fans are furious with Lennon and his comments didn’t help his cause at all.
Meanwhile, one Celtic should have no future at the club after their latest performance.
